There may be times when you wish to create a plain text message to send to your subscribers. We generally recommend you use the drag and drop message editor , rather than just plain text.
A plain text message is just text and has no formatting. So things such as inserting images, hyperlinks, adjusting font styles, and tracking open rates cannot be done.
An advantage of creating a plain text message is that what you type is exactly what subscribers will see and you can avoid the formatting issues that can sometimes happen with HTML messages.
If you still want to use HTML, but want to create a plain style message you can always load the βplainβ template in the drag and drop email builder .
