Referral Ads and Banners
AWeber offers a number of resources to help you advertise your referral link. Each of these is integrated with your advocate account, such that someone clicking on one of these banners, images, or web forms will be tracked under your referral link if they go on to purchase an account. In this article, we will review how to access our pre-made ads.

Once logged in, under the "Ads" tab, choose which content type you're interested in (scroll down for a more detailed overview of your options).

Scroll down the page until you find the item you would like to place on your site, and copy the HTML that we provide below it.

Now, paste that HTML into the HTML of your website and save/upload the changes.

Advocate Landing Page
If you donโt have a website, you can still promote AWeber using a Landing Page.
Note: To create a Landing Page, you will need to create an email marketing account . For more information on setting up an email marketing account, see: Getting Started with AWeber .

If youโre still logged into your Advocate account, log out of your Advocate account and log into your email marketing account .

Create a Landing Page and select the Advocate Template. You may need to scroll down or use the search option to locate this template.

This Landing Page can be fully edited as needed. To ensure that you receive referral credit when a user signs up using a link on the page, youโll need to edit any hyperlinks on text and buttons on the page to replace the links with your own referral link.

Make sure to update the hyperlink on each of the 3 buttons on the page as well.

Once the page is formatted the way you want and has updated hyperlinks, click โSave & Exitโ to exit the editor.

Publish your Landing Page to obtain a link that you can share with prospective referrals.

In turn, when they place an order, your referrals are ready to start building their business online immediately. The quicker a new AWeber customer can get their business up and running, the faster their list will grow, and the more referral payments you will receive.
How do I tag blog links with my advocate ID?
You can reach businesses who want to learn more about email marketing and AWeber by tagging links to our blog posts with your advocate ID. To do this, add "?id=XYZ" to the end of any link from our blog.
For example, if your ID is 99, you'll add ?id=99 to the end of any link from our blog. This would look like:
When we receive visitors through your advocateID-tagged links, we'll associate that visitor with your advocate account.
If they then sign up for an account (either on that visit, or on a subsequent one), you'll receive credit for that referral. When they upgrade from Free to Pro or they sign up for a Pro account, you'll start to receiving between 30% - 50% based on your previous 12 months of referrals.
Here is the commission payout structure:

30% Commission - For referring 0 โ 99 new paid accounts within a trailing 12-month period.

40% Commission - For referring 100 โ 499 new paid accounts within a trailing 12-month period.

50% Commission - For referring 500+ new paid accounts within a trailing 12-month period.
