What If My Email Is Already on the List?

If you try to sign up with an email address that's already subscribed to your list, the email address will not be added again. You will need to either:

Why Test Your Sign Ups?

Testing your sign up process helps you:

  • Verify that new subscribers are being added correctly

  • Receive emails you’re sending out to ensure they arrive as intended

  • Ensure workflow automations are set up properly

  • Check that tags are being applied as expected

Checking Subscriber Activity

After completing a test signup, you can verify everything worked correctly by viewing the subscriber activity for your email address.

The subscriber activity shows all actions taken for that subscriber, including tags applied, emails sent, workflow automations triggered, and sign up source and date.

By regularly testing your sign up process, you can catch issues early and ensure a smooth experience for your real subscribers.
