Creating a Sign Up Form

Opt-in forms are a powerful tool for growing your email list and turning visitors into loyal subscribers. Adding a form to your website is an effective way to capture interest, build relationships, and drive engagement with your audience. By encouraging visitors to sign up, you can nurture them into regular customers and keep them informed about your latest updates, products, or services.

Using a sign-up form allows you to automatically collect contact information, which can be used to kickstart your email marketing campaigns, nurture leads, and strengthen customer loyalty. Whether your goal is to grow a newsletter, promote a product, or send targeted content, an opt-in form is your gateway to long-term engagement.

Creating a Sign Up Form

  1. Click "Pages & Forms" then the " Sign Up Forms " tab in the navigation menu.

  2. Click on the "Create a Sign Up Form" button and choose "For My Website."

  3. Choose a template for your form from the "Template Gallery". Click the "Show More" option to bring up a menu of the
    different categories.

    Browse through the different categories to find a template that matches your websites design and theme.

    When you find the one you want to use, click on it. Then choose your color scheme and click "Load Template."

  4. To add text to the header of your form, click on it.A
    headline will help your websites visitors understand why they should
    sign up and what kind of information they can expect to receive.

  5. Once done, click "Go To Step 2."

  6. Now, give your form a name. Your subscribers won't see this name; it just helps you tell this form apart from others you create later.

  7. Then, select the Thank You page your subscribers will go to after they fill out your form. You can use the default basic version, a custom page on your website, or a custom thank you page created with the landing page builder.

  8. Once done, click "Save Your Form" and then click "Go To Step 3."

  9. Now publish the form to your website using the Javascript Snippet or Raw HTML Version.

    You can copy and paste the Javascript Snippet or Raw HTML Version anywhere between the <body> tags of your site.

  10. You could also publish the sign up form as a landing page if you don't have a website.

How do I add a sign up form to my landing page?

  1. Navigate to "Pages & Forms" and select the " Landing Pages " tab in the navigation menu. From here, either create a new landing page or edit an existing one.

  2. In the landing page editor, click on the area where you want to add the form. From the elements menu on the left, click and drag the "Form" element onto your landing page.

  3. Customize the form to match your landing page design. The form will automatically adopt any default styles you’ve set up. Additionally, you can adjust the thank you page settings under the "Submission" section.

  4. Save and publish your landing page when you’re ready.


Once the form has been published, test it by filling it out yourself. Whether on your website or landing page, your form is now ready to turn visitors into subscribers!
